Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This policy explains what information The Matador Group collects when you visit thematadorgroup.online, contact us, or become a client — and what we do with it. It's written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.
Who we are
The Matador Group is a performance marketing business operated by Anthony Hernandez in the United States. For any privacy question, or to have your data deleted, email anthony@thematadorgroup.online and we'll action it within 30 days.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, website or listing URL, approximate ad spend, and whatever you tell us about your business — via the teardown form, the booking page, or email.
- Information collected automatically. Standard analytics: pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location by city, device and browser type. This comes from Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, described below.
- Client account data. If you engage us, we're granted access to your advertising and analytics accounts. We view and manage that data to do the work. We don't copy it out, sell it, or use it for anything other than your campaigns.
Cookies and tracking
We use two third-party tools on this site:
- Google Analytics 4 — tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. Google's privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel — lets us measure whether our own advertising works, and show ads to people who have already visited this site. Meta's privacy policy.
You can block both by using your browser's tracking-prevention settings, a content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
How we use your information
- To produce and send the free teardown you requested.
- To respond to enquiries and run booked calls.
- To deliver services if you become a client.
- To send occasional email about paid media — only to people who gave us their address. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and we honour it immediately.
- To understand how the site performs so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we have no plans to.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to operate: Google Workspace (email and calendar), Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Google Analytics, and Meta. Each processes data under its own terms. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and teardown data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Client records are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, because tax and contract law requires it. Analytics data follows Google's default retention window.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you're in California, the CCPA gives you those rights explicitly, plus the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them — and since we don't sell data, there's nothing to opt out of on that front. If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the same rights plus data portability. Email us and we'll handle it; you won't be asked to fill in a form.
Email from us
We send business email, including outreach to businesses we think we can help. Every message identifies who we are, includes a real reply-to address, and includes a way to opt out. Ask us to stop and we stop — permanently, and without needing a reason.
Security
Data is held in Google Workspace and Netlify, both of which encrypt data in transit and at rest. Accounts use strong authentication. No system is perfect, and we won't claim ours is — but we don't store payment card details or sensitive personal categories anywhere.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. It isn't directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email.
