Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

This policy explains what information The Matador Group collects when you visit thematadorgroup.online, contact us, or become a client — and what we do with it. It's written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

Who we are

The Matador Group is a performance marketing business operated by Anthony Hernandez in the United States. For any privacy question, or to have your data deleted, email anthony@thematadorgroup.online and we'll action it within 30 days.

What we collect

Cookies and tracking

We use two third-party tools on this site:

You can block both by using your browser's tracking-prevention settings, a content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we have no plans to.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to operate: Google Workspace (email and calendar), Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Google Analytics, and Meta. Each processes data under its own terms. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and teardown data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Client records are kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, because tax and contract law requires it. Analytics data follows Google's default retention window.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you're in California, the CCPA gives you those rights explicitly, plus the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them — and since we don't sell data, there's nothing to opt out of on that front. If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the same rights plus data portability. Email us and we'll handle it; you won't be asked to fill in a form.

Email from us

We send business email, including outreach to businesses we think we can help. Every message identifies who we are, includes a real reply-to address, and includes a way to opt out. Ask us to stop and we stop — permanently, and without needing a reason.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number on one of our forms, you are agreeing to let us contact you at that number about the thing you asked for and about our services. That can include a phone call and it can include a text message, sent by us or by an automated system on our behalf. Giving us your number is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out and you will get one confirmation message and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@thematadorgroup.online. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or your SMS consent with anybody for their own marketing. The only companies that touch it are the vendors who deliver messages for us, and they are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Security

Data is held in Google Workspace and Netlify, both of which encrypt data in transit and at rest. Accounts use strong authentication. No system is perfect, and we won't claim ours is — but we don't store payment card details or sensitive personal categories anywhere.

Children

This is a business-to-business service. It isn't directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and, where the change affects you directly, tell you by email.

Terms of Service

Last updated 29 September 2026

These terms cover your use of thematadorgroup.online and anything you sign up for through it. Using the site means you accept them. If you don't, don't use the site.

Who we are

The Matador Group, a performance marketing company based in Houston, Texas. You can reach us at hello@thematadorgroup.online or 713-714-0923.

What this site is

A place to learn what we do, read things we have written, and ask us to contact you. Nothing on it is an offer to form a contract by itself. Any work we do together is covered by a separate written agreement between us, and if that agreement disagrees with anything here, that agreement wins.

Free guides and reports

Our guides are free and they are educational. They describe approaches that have worked, in specific situations, for specific businesses. They are not a promise that the same thing will work for you, and they are not marketing, legal, financial or tax advice. What you do with them is your decision and your responsibility.

Results

We do not guarantee rankings, revenue, return on ad spend, a number of leads, or a number of booked appointments through this website. Any figures we publish describe what happened in a particular case. Your business, your market, your offer, your pricing and your own team all change the outcome.

Where we do make a specific guarantee, it will be written into the agreement we sign with you, with the conditions attached. Our No Bull Guarantee page describes those promises, and the agreement is what makes them binding.

Contacting you

When you give us your email address or phone number on this site, you are asking us to get in touch about the thing you requested and about our services. That can include email, a phone call, and text messages, including ones sent automatically. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can stop it at any time - reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just tell us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with the information.

Your content

If you send us a website, an ad account, a listing or anything else for review, you are confirming you have the right to share it. You keep ownership of it. You are giving us permission to look at it and to prepare feedback for you, and nothing more than that.

Our content

The writing, design, video, artwork and guides on this site belong to The Matador Group. You are welcome to read them, print them, and send them to someone. You are not welcome to resell them, republish them as your own, or strip our name off them.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break the site, scrape it at scale, submit somebody else's contact details, or use our forms to send anything unlawful. We can refuse service to anyone, and we can remove access without notice if any of that happens.

Third parties

Parts of this site rely on other companies - hosting, analytics, video, scheduling, email and messaging. When you use those parts, their terms apply too. We link to other websites sometimes, and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost business arising from your use of the site or from acting on anything you read here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We update these terms when the business changes. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
